Lebanon  Indiana

Lebanon, Indiana is located approximately 28 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis, and nearly 45,000 people call the small town home.  Also known as The Friendly City, the town has served as the Boone County seat since 1832.

Established on April 30th, 1830, Lebanon was founded by Indianapolis natives General James Perry Drake and Colonel George L. Kinnard.  The pair first purchased three tracts of land that would later become Lebanon for $1.25 per acre on March 1, 1830.
